Ohm returns to the Baked Potato, December 2nd!

Hey OHM fans. WE’RE BACK—our first show since maybe March.

Sorry we’ve been out of touch. Earlier this year, within a span of four months, we had three deaths in the OHM immediate family—a father, a step-father and a sister. Needless to say, we took a little time off, and then we started pre-production on the next album.

We’ll be at Thee Wonderful BAKED POTATO on Tuesday, December 2.
1st Show at 9:00ish; 2nd Show at 11:00ish

Chris Poland, Robbie Pags and I would love to see you.

If you’re thinking of coming, The BAKED POTATO suggests that you make reservations (818-980-1615, www.thebakedpotato.com), since it’s our first time back, they’re expecting a packed house.

See you then,
OHM

Ohm at the Baked Potato!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Your favorite slightly twisted Rock/Fusion power trio, OHM (Chris Poland, Robbie “Pag” Pagliari and David Eagle), is coming back to a BAKED POTATO near you. Actually… there is only one (near Universal Studios).

We’re not sure why The Baked Potato bills us as “#1 Fusion Band in LA,” but we don’t mind accepting the title. Maybe it’s one of those things, you just need to decide for yourself.

News update

1. Chris is interviewed in the Feb 2014 issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine (available at finer newsstands everywhere)

Chris is also doing a live demo for a new speaker Eminence is launching after his performance. Chris will also be the the Floyd Rose booth that day, jamming most likely with a very famous bass player – time/event yet to be confirmed. We will keep you posted.

3. The new Michael Angelo Batio cd, Intermezzo, featuring a guest solo by Chris and other like Michael Romeo, Dave Reffett, George Lynch, Guthrie Govan, and others is now out.

4. Chris contributes leads to a few songs on the Flotsam and Jetsam No Place For Disgrace re-recording that comes out in 2014. If you look closely around http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/npfd you can hear some rough mix samples of Chris’ contributions.

5. Chris will be appearing on Ted Kirkpatrick’s (famed drummer of Christian metallers, Tourniquet) upcoming solo cd, The Tourniquet Ark, via some guest solos as well.

6. Watch for numerous updates in terms of merchandise – signed posters, cds, t-shirts, special OHM: releases, rarities, etc. We apologize for it taking so long to get it together, but it is finally coming together.

7. New OHM: studio material is being re-recorded, but the plans are to do it via a live show as well as using some of the best-sounding already recorded studio cuts. The band feels that the energy live best represents these new tunes, so that is the goal for early 2014.

8. No word on when the Nik Turner (Hawkwind) disc that Chris, Pag, and David recorded some tracks for will be released, but we will keep you posted.

From Chris, Pag, David, and the OHM: camp – Happy holidays! ;0)
